I graduated from Medical School at the University of Patras, Greece and undertook all my general surgical and advanced Plastic Surgery training in the UK.

In 2004 I was awarded my PhD degree by the University of Sheffield for my 3 year long research work on malignant melanoma undertaken at the University of Sheffield and Christie Hospital in Manchester.

I completed a six year specialist training programme in Plastic Surgery in the North West working at South Manchester University Hospital and the Christie Hospital, the largest cancer centre in Europe, acquiring skills in breast and skin cancer reconstructive surgery.

I was awarded a further qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Plast) and the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Plastic Surgery in 2010.

I completed a 12 month specialist breast reconstruction fellowship at City Hospital, Birmingham and subsequently spent a further 6 months on a prestigious fellowship on microsurgical reconstruction of the breast at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Canada, one of the largest centres for microsurgery in North America.

I am a fully accredited Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon and I am entered into the General Medical Council (GMC) specialist register for Plastic Surgery. I am a full member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).

I have published plastic surgery literature throughout my career and have presented my work at international conferences.

In 2011 I was appointed to my first NHS Consultant post in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. I moved to City Hospital, Birmingham in 2012 to work as a full time Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a specialist interest in breast reconstruction.

I left the NHS in July 2017 and now offer plastic reconstructive and aesthetic procedures in the private sector aiming to continue providing the highest quality safe surgical care with an individualised approach to my patients’ needs and expectations.

I perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast and body including breast uplift surgery, breast reduction, breast augmentation, breast reconstruction surgery, male breast reduction (surgery for gynaecomastia), fat transfer to the breast (lipomodelling), abdominoplasty and body contouring procedures.

I also perform liposuction procedures including thigh liposuction, abdominal liposuction, thigh and buttock lifts, scar revision, as well as mole, skin tag and cyst removal, ear plastic surgery including otoplasty (prominent er correction) and split ear lobe correction.
